At Tewkesbury Junior Anglers, we offer family fishing fun for children aged 5-16. Our expert coaches provide inclusive angling experiences in Gloucestershire. As a not-for-profit club backed by the Angling Trust, we aim to promote the joy of fishing among young anglers.

What age groups do you cater to?
We cater to young anglers aged 5-16.

Do I need to bring my own fishing equipment?

We provide fishing equipment for our courses and competitions, however you can bring your own kit if you wanted to.

Are parents allowed to participate in the junior angling competitions?

Parents are welcome to accompany their children and watch the competitions, infact we want parents to join in!

Do you have a qualification?

Yes we do, We have a Level 2 Angling Event Lead Coach, and our volunteers hold the old Level 1 Support Coach, now named Event Support Volunteer.

Have you got insurance?

Yes we hold a public liability insurance with our Coach Licence, provided by the Angling Trust.

Do you have Policies and Procedures in place?

Yes we do, you can take a look at or policies and safeguarding pages on the Angling Trust website.

Do you hold a DBS?

Yes, as part of our licences we hold an enhanced DBS, which are renewed every year.
